Draft for legal review. Not yet in effect.
Terms of use
Last updated: November 1, 2026 (draft). These terms are published at https://onewrenchpro.com/terms.
These terms are an agreement between you (the business that uses the app, "you") and Llambes Studios ("we", "us") about One Wrench Pro: the iPhone app, the customer pages and emails it sends through our relay, and this website. By using the app you agree to them. If you use it for a business, you confirm you can agree for that business.
1. The app
One Wrench Pro helps you run a repair business: customers and vehicles, inspections, quotes, invoices, payments, scheduling, reminders and your books. You get the app from Apple's App Store, and Apple's standard terms for apps (the Licensed Application End User License Agreement) also apply. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for your business while you follow these terms.
Your records are stored on your devices and in your iCloud, not by us (see the privacy policy). You're responsible for keeping iCloud on for the app and for keeping your own backups and exports. We can't recover records we never had.
Some features depend on services run by others (Apple, Stripe, email delivery, parts suppliers) and on our relay. We work to keep them running but don't promise they'll always be available or error-free, and we may change or retire features.
2. Free and paid plans
- Free costs nothing to use. Card payments on Free carry our platform fee of 4% of each payment.
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions: Starter at $29.99, Pro at $79.99 and Shop at $149.99 (or the local price shown where you buy). Card payments on a paid plan carry no platform fee.
- A plan you buy in the app is sold and billed by Apple through your Apple ID. It renews automatically until you cancel in your Apple subscription settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
- We may change prices or fees for the future with notice in the app; a price change to a plan bought through Apple follows Apple's rules for notifying subscribers.
3. Payments through Stripe
To take card payments you connect your own Stripe account. Your payments are processed by Stripe under the Stripe Services Agreement and the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which you accept with Stripe. Stripe, not us, holds the funds and pays them out to you. You pay Stripe's processing fees, and you authorize any platform fee on your plan to be collected from each card payment through Stripe. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks on your payments are between you, your customer and Stripe, on your Stripe account. Tap to Pay on iPhone also requires you to accept Apple's terms for it on your phone.
4. Your business, your customers
- You set your own prices, quotes, deposits and terms with your customers, and you're responsible for the work you do and for your warranties.
- You're responsible for collecting, reporting and paying your taxes, including sales tax. The app's tax figures and reports help you, but they aren't tax, legal or accounting advice; check them with your accountant.
- You're responsible for the information you keep about your customers and what you send them, and for having their permission to contact them by text or email where the law requires it.
- Content you put in the app (your logo, photos, notes) stays yours. You give us permission to show it on the customer pages and emails you choose to send, only for that purpose.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the app or its pages to send spam, to mislead customers, for anything unlawful, or to try to break, overload or get around the limits of the relay. We may limit or suspend the relay features for a shop that does, and we'll tell you why when we can.
6. Parts suppliers
If you connect a parts supplier, your orders are with that supplier, on your account, under its terms and prices. We pass your searches and orders along and aren't responsible for the supplier's parts, prices, stock or delivery.
7. Ending
You can stop using the app at any time, delete your online account from the app, and cancel a paid plan with Apple. We may end these terms for a shop that seriously breaks them. Sections 4, 8, 9 and 10 continue after the end.
8. No warranty
The app and the relay are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond what these terms say, including that the app will meet every need of your business or that figures it calculates are free of errors.
9. Limits of liability, in plain words
To the extent the law allows: we aren't liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data or indirect damages, and our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the greater of what you paid us for a paid plan in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
10. Disputes and law
The governing law and venue will be set before these terms take effect. Before any formal claim, write to us and we'll try to sort it out together.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for a significant change, tell you in the app before it takes effect. Using the app after that means you accept the new terms.
